Monica Walker is a veteran organizer, artist, trainer, speaker and social activist who has spent the better part of her career organizing inside and outside of large institutions Currently residing in Greensboro, NC, she was previously the Executive Director of the Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Guilford County Schools. Walker was also a key leader in East Brooklyn Congregations and St. Paul’s Community Baptist Church in Brooklyn New York, where she helped lead broad-based organizing and the renowned MAAFA celebration.
